Strip and plot

Will it bubble or peel?
Not if it is fitted properly. A little haze or a few tiny bubbles in the first week or two is normal while the adhesive cures, and they clear on their own. Anything still there after that is ours to fix. Free, however long it has been, for as long as you own the car. That includes a corner that starts lifting a year later.
Do I get a car while mine is in?
Yes, and it does not cost anything. Every job that keeps your car overnight comes with a courtesy car. Insured, fuelled and waiting when you arrive. There is no daily rate. Just tell us you want it when you book.
What happens before the film goes on?
A two-bucket wash, iron and tar removal, then a clay bar run by hand over every panel until the paint is glass-smooth, then a solvent wipe and every edge stripped back. On a whole car that is most of a day. It is included on every job and it is the single biggest reason a wrap either lasts five years or lifts in one.
Wrap or paint protection film?
A wrap changes how the car looks and covers the paint completely. That is what most people are after. Film is clear and exists to stop stone chips. If the budget is tight and the car is a colour you like, protect the front end. If you want it to look like a different car, wrap it. Doing both to the front end is common and sensible.
How long does a wrap last?
Five to seven years on quality cast vinyl, kept outdoors, washed sensibly. Garaged cars go longer. Anyone quoting you ten years on a wrap is quoting the film's shelf life, not its life on a car. Clear paint protection film is the ten-year product. Different job, different material.
Can it come off later?
Yes. Good cast vinyl and quality film both lift cleanly with controlled heat, and the paint underneath usually looks better than the panels that were never covered, because it has not seen UV or road salt. We do removals whether or not we fitted the original.
Why are you cheaper than the big shops?
We buy film by the roll rather than the panel, and we keep the overheads low. The film and the plotter patterns are the same ones you would get downtown. Bring a written quote and we will beat it.
How do I look after it?
Leave it a week, then hand wash with a pH-neutral soap, or use a touchless automatic. Keep a pressure washer about a foot and a half back and never square-on to an edge. There is nothing else to it. No polishing, no sealant to reapply. The longer version.
